Construction Process
The entire development team has taken great care to meticulously plan development efforts and construction sequencing to minimize disruption for our retail tenants as much as possible.
Our firm has extensive experience developing hotels in dense, high traffic areas and we intend to deploy our decades of expertise to optimize plaza access and operations throughout development and construction of the new hotel. Flaggers and/or police detail will be onsite when necessary to ensure safe and efficient pedestrian access and parking operations. The Bellevue Gardens Shopping Plaza will remain open throughout the entire process.
Step 1
A secure staging area to house construction equipment and materials will be installed in the plaza on the corner of Bellevue Avenue and Jones Avenue.
Step 2
Starting at the William Street entrance, we will begin installing the new water line across the length of the parking lot. At the end of each day’s construction activities, all holes will be filled for the evening.
Step 3
Once the waterline installation is complete, we will begin excavating the advanced stormwater system within the staging area at the corner of Bellevue and Jones.
Step 4
Upon completing of the stormwater system, we will begin installing the drainage pipes starting near Jones Avenue working across the length of the parking lot towards William Street.
Step 5
Once the stormwater systems and revised parking layouts are complete, piling equipment will be erected within the staging area, and along the Bellevue Avenue fence.
